starting to free range a little,

so i was thinking the other day and a few agreed that free range would make waldo happier, so i put a vine coming out his cage so he can come out when im in the room, still scared to lave him out by himself i do have a dog, and before u worry dog cant reach waldo dont think hed bother him if he could, he hasnt came out till today today hes up there man and watching everything seems so content im going to make more and bring it accros to the bed, but does this mean i need to pick up more lights for the time he may be out? probibly ike 2 to 3 hrs a day, i dont want any mbd i have a healthy parisite free guy, wanna keep him this way!

If its only 2 or 3 hours a day, i'd say get an extra basking light, but i think you'd be fine without the UVB if its only that long. But it also wouldn't hurt to set up a UVB light over it.

I would think a nice warm basking light might lure Waldo out. I've left my Shayna's cage open and she seems to have NO intention of leaving her domain.

yea i took a lamp and put it out there he chilled for an hr then back home for some crickets and uvb.

Once they get the "idea" of the door being open means exploring, they start coming out. When i first started doing this with fredo he didn't want to come out. Then i started putting him on the vine and letting him choose, cage, or FR. Once he started figuring it out, as soon as the cage door was open he started coming straight to me to get out
