Starks progress

I decided to create a thread for pictures of Stark. I have had Stark for 9 months now and as I look back I see how much me has changed. I think the only things I would have changed when I got him was 1. Lowered the branch so he did not get the burn on his casque (thats why it looks different) and 2. Have gotten him tested for parasites sooner so I could have caught the coccidia sooner and maybe he would be a little bigger.
I am estimating he turned a year on July 12 but am not sure as I got him from a petstore and they are never sure on ages.

The first picture is 3 days after I got him.
The second picture was a few days before his hatch day.
The last picture was a day ago.

There is also a sleeping picture look about 2 weeks ago.

How much do you guys think he has changed?

The third picture he is also pretty dark and thats because as you can probably see he was getting ready to shed and when he sheds he becomes very cranky:cool:

I also forgot to mention that along with his physical change he has also had a major personality change. When I got Stark I estimated he was about 5 months old. The petstores get them very young so im thinking he had about 3+months in the petstore. Thats gave him along time to become sassy and not like people. When the petstore man reached into the enclosure the first think Stark did was hiss and gape at the man. I just though to myself "oh my gosh what have I gotten into". For about the first week I was terrified of him as I didnt even know chameleons hissed. My panther Norman was very calm. After about a week and a half I started feeding him by hand. He got situated in his cage very fast so I felt it was time to start working with him. I used a plastics chop stick and lured him out. Then I would just hold the stick and he would stare at me. Then I would put him back and start again. One day I decided to leave the cage door open to see what he would do. In a matter of about an hour he climbed out and sat at the side. I went over to him and he climbed on my hand! Ever since that day he has wanted out of his cage every moment he can get. If I cleaning the fish tanks next to his cage, he climbs on the screen wanting out. Hes super sweet but every so often still he lets me know whos boss with a little hiss or gape :p

This picture was taken by my exchange student who had never seen a chameleon before. She loves Stark and thinks hes really cool.

I love to see progression threads! It is amazing how quickly and dramatically they can change. Nice to see Stark isn't camera shy :).

Some of Starks colors are becoming even more bold! I love it when he sleeps because his pj's are great!
