Squirming yemen

Hi all,
we've had Lenny the yemen chameleon for a month or so now and over the past week he's started squirming when he's out of his tank.

He's generally a happy chap who eats like a horse and will run onto your hand when the tanks open. But he's started walking onto our hands then putting his stomach flat down and riggling back and forward and shuffling his feet.

He is in a vivexotic 4ft high x 2ft squared tank which is full of both live and fake decoration with a powersun 100w bulb thats on from about 8ish to about 7ish when he starts to snooze.
He is regularly fed hoppers, mealworms now and again, salad and a treat of waxworms occasionally. And every third day he gets his calcium supplement.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Cheers.

mine keeps doing this to my hand, puts out his hemipenis and start to do his thing hehe

ha! does it to my boyfriend most so will be sure to pass on that message! :D Thanks guys, much appreciated!

Good luck Eilidh! Male chameleons seem pretty shameless when flaunting themselves! There are a few good threads on sperm plugs if you get one of those, they can be a bit of a worry if you don't know what they are!

And every third day he gets his calcium supplement.

Hello there, just saw that your supplementation could maybe do with improvement. Veiled's should have plain calcium (no vitamin d3) every day. calcium with d3 and a multivitamin should each be given every two weeks.
