Spraying cham cage tips?

Hey Gang,

I wanted to post and ask about everyones spraying techniques and if you have any tips/tricks? I currently in the AM turn on the lights and let a drip go. Once the cage has warmed up form the night (low 60s at night) I remove the light for a moment (I dont want any water to splash up into the bulb) open the main door and go to town. I then do the same approx 45 min before lights out to allow the lights time to still warm up the cage for ideal night time temp. Lucy is from a pet store and still very timid and usually goes into a hiding spot during her sprays.

With that said I was wondering how everyone else does it and how ur cham reacts. Also is ur water warm, room temp or semi cold when dripping and spraying. I like to keep the spray water fairly warm as it cools when sprayed from my hand sprayer.

Thanks in advance,

Eddie

Mine seemed to respond better when being sprayed from above, through the mesh. That way the water would collect on the mesh and fall in larger drops. He absolutely hated being sprayed from the side and would try to get away. At the very least I would use room temperature, and sometimes warm. When I switched to a Mistking system, it was just room temperature.
