spots :)

my girly Clair, the veiled, jsut got spots this morning. they were dark pumpkin orange. i thought they were suposed to be yellow but i like this color. no blue spots so is she receptive? when will she be gravid?


i'll post a pic here tommorw probally. shes also had bars with whiteish dots inside when she woke up for a little while. ^^

She's starting to get her big girl colors. Are you cutting back on her food and keeping her temps in the very low 80's? Maybe you'll be able to keep her from producing a clutch. Do you have a laying bin for her? Have you read my laying bin/egg laying blog?

shes got a laying bin. i have cut back on her food a good bit. i dont want to starve her tho and she always seems hungry. temps are max 80 but more like 75. ^^

She need a basking temp of at least 80 to digest her food.
