Spike finally ate!!!

he finally gave in and ate his crickets after 3 days. I had him out and he was on my head (his favorite spot) and i tryed hand feeding him a cricket and he finally took it then i put him back in his cage and he ate the rest in his cup. Im so happy now.

Awww! Glad he's feeling more settled. It's the best feeling to have them take food from you!

I not only remember the first time Splat shot a cricket from my fingers, but I remember what it was like to finaly have him feel comfortable enough to feed from my hands outside his cage (took a few months later for some reason).
in fact, I remember saying while he was outside his cage infront of my nephiew and his friend that he will never eat this giant cricket...boy, did he prove me wrong that day.
