Sperm plugs issues

Hi all,

Seeking further advices with sperm plugs issues

I bought an adult male ambilobe panther chameleon six days ago

He's 18 months old, very active and healthy, eats a lot and poos every day. Never mated before in his life except one test attempt five days ago (i have stopped further mating attempts and no intention to restart any time soon)

I notice that he ejects sperm plugs everyday, sometimes twice a day. Is this a problem?

I read it could be a sign of lack of vitamin A so i will try to introduce that to his diet

Any further advice pls?

If I remember right....and I'm not 100% on this, but I think Impacted Sperm Plugs are contributed to a lack of vitamin A.

But you stated that he ejects them multiple times a day? So, if he is passing them without intervention, that is a good thing. But I am slightly weirded out by the multiple sperm plugs a day. I have never seen that. I guess he has quite the drive to mate.

Not multiple plugs a day, but twice a day, on the first two days i'v received him

And for subsequent days, i see him pooing along with new sperm plugs
