Spectral Pygmys?

I got what is supposed to be a 1.3 group of Rhampholeon Spectrum. I dont think they are all the same but this is my first experience with pygmys. Please let me know if you can id these from the pics I have provided. The 2nd pic with 2, the one in the foreground has a longer tail than the other and a more pointed snout. The 3rd pic is what I was expecting for R. Spectrum. The last pic is the largest by far. Its the same one in the background in the 2nd pic. Thanks!

I you look at the 1st pic, that little guy has the small horns you would expect on R. Spectrum.

Better, individual pictures would help but I think they are all Rieppeleon brevicaudatus because of the lack of adornments (rostral processes, horns, etc.) colouration and patterning. The only one I question is the one in the foreground in Picture 2 (Img 4032) but it lacks the typical pointy lips of a Rhampholeon temporalis.

You definitely did not receive Rhampholeon spectrum.

Thanks for the input from ferret and trace. Here are new pics I just took that should leave no doubt hopefully. Please re-evaluate and let me know species and sex if possible. I got a discount from the supplier for sending the wrong species so will be keeping these. Thanks in advance for the help!

Ah much better! All are Rieppeleon brevicaudatus except for #2 which is a female Rhampholeon temporalis. I knew that one looked different. I'll leave the sexing to Ferret as she has more current experience than myself but if I had to guess #1 and #4 are females and #3 is the male.

I found the temporalis like cooler temperatures than the brevs so watch she doesn't get too hot.

As an anecdotal remark, pygmy species seem to get mislabelled with regularity in the pet trade. I wish I had a dollar for every time I went into a pet store and saw a tank full of brevicaudatus labeled as a Brookesia minima.

Thanks Trace! Are the males always so much smaller than females for Brevs? He is tiny compared to the rest.

It’s been a long, long while since I had any brevs so I’ll defer the final sexing decisions to Dayna and others. In the brevs the males are the roughly same size or slightly smaller than the gals. That particular one may just be younger than the rest.

Have fun with them, the pygmies are chock full of personality!
