I am either not using the right terminology or just unlucky but I cannot find specifics on what I am looking for.

In regards to Ambilobe Panther females:

I have a female (hatched 12/01/09) that I intend to breed. She is currently 40 grams so has some growing to do first, but I do not want to feed her too much to induce a infertile clutch before I can breed her.

How much should I be feeding her specifically on a daily basis. Assuming crickets gut loaded with crack and fresh fruits and veggies? I dust with calcium almost every day and calcium/D3 every two weeks and multivitamin alternating two weeks.

These are about 1/2" crickets and she is currently eating between 3-6 per day directly from feeding tongs to monitor intake.

Sounds like you are doing everything correctly. I don't think you mentioned her basking temperature but I would keep her in the low 80's. I would also start feeding everyother day in the next month or two.

I have her basking between 85-87. Any lower and she tends to spend the whole day in the basking spot. I was using a 45w bulb but switched her back to a 60w because of this. I measured with a infrared temp gun.

The main thing I am concerned about is how many food items to offer on a daily basis. Currenlty she is eating 3-6 so if this sounds right and I am not feeding her too much than I feel better.

Thanks.

You are offering the correct amount of food items but you should consider going to every other day using that amount. jmo
