Kool, I just got two of the same mantis. I told one of the collage kids here to collect mantis for he when he was at home and he did!! That was just too sweet.

not sure where your located, but heres a pretty helpful guide as to what species of mantis live in what states, this way you can research the few species and see which best fits the description of yours http://www.herper.com/insects/namantids.html

also..i know its illegal here in pa to kill wild mantis because they are protected..so no feeders here
