Special Monty Moment!

This afternoon, I looked in on Monty (as I do every time I walk past his viv) and he started walking down his branch towards me, so I held out my finger and he climbed right on! It was such a special moment on Mother's Day, as he has only done this a couple of times before. It meant so much more today though after losing Amy yesterday. It was like he sensed I needed a special moment today. Chameleons are just such wonderful pets!

i am so glad for you Tiff. I said Monty was the answer for you right now and he seems to know it. Now that he feels less stress from you worrying about Amy, he will be more and more friendly. Thanks heaven you have that little doll.

Thanks Laurie! He was here for me when I lost Tommy, and now again for Amy's loss. Had my Mum, Dad and brother over for Mother's Day lunch today and Monty sat with Mum for ages - he really seems to enjoy being held and his grip is gonna be awesome when he's a big boy, he's quite strong already!

I'm glad Monty did that. You really needed something special like that to happen after suffering a heartbreaking loss. I'm happy for you

I know they do. It's just so hard to lose one. I wrote that a couple of nights ago when Amy was really poorly as that was exactly how I felt. If love was enough to keep them alive then they could all live forever.
