Spartans Journey

I was more concerned with the 48 measurement because it looks a lot smaller than 4 foot but if your sure then cool.

Oh I thought your concern was with the width since you were talking about the width of the fixture. As for hight I was thinking the same thing, doesnt seem like 48", I was told it was, but i will measure it when I get home and update.

He's beautiful! May I have him? Lol!;)

If you could pry him out of my kung fuu grip:)

Why cant others follow your example...

If I had a dime for everyti.........j/k j/k j/k:D

The light caught my attention so i though id mention it, i was just hoping you hadn't been miss-sold the cage.

I went to 5 different pet stores, 2 petsmarts and a petco, and I could not find rep-cal without D3. any Ideas where I can walk in and buy some? I am in West L.A. near LAX.

Here is my Dubia roach enclosure, which I made last night, thank to the generousity of Mr. Dave Weldon, who hooked me up with a starter colony at last nights SBCK meeting.

Please LMK if I am doing anything wrong. I plan on getting a heating pad today to put under the tub. Right now I just have a heat lamp hanging over the eggcrate

I cut out a large hole on the lid and hot glued a screen.

Thats how mine looks only I stacked the egg crates vertically. I doubt it makes much of a difference. Get a heat pad and watch those suckers multiply.

Dubia colony looks fine, but I had babies climb up the plastic crate. You can run a border inside at the top of packing tape to keep them inside.

Your cham is beautiful. I was going to show you pictures of my nosey be last night, but got distracted! You can check out my photo gallery if you want.

I got my last calcium with-out d3 at Reptile Finders in Lomita on PCH. I'd try there or LLL if you want to order it.

Thanks Tylene, I will definately add some packing tape, wouldn't want them getting out, it's hard enough keeping them with my family all bent out of shape about them.

Just checked out your gallery and your Nosey Be is gorgeous, and a stunning specimen. The pic is freaken awesome BTW.

I will check out Reptile Finders today after work, they are not to far from my office.

Here is some pics of my optional free range. Can you spot spartan?

There he is!!

I moved the plant further away from the window cause he tried to get on the top of the blinds. I was planning on putting plastic vines all across the top of the blinds but I am too afraid he will fall.

He can handle the height. Would he land on carpet? If it's carpeted and he falls, he should be fine. Healthy chameleons can take a fall. In fact, in the wild they sleep on the edges of branches so that they can quickly fall to the ground if a predator gets close. I'm sure they drop from higher than 6-8 feet :)
