That is what I was thinking when I saw the picture! I have been closer and it is an amazing thing to see, even from this far away. I am on the opposite coast here!
I SAW IT TO! I stayed up till 12:00 p.m. to see it. It looked like a big airplane but was going pretty darn fast. Its weird because for them they go straight up and for us it looked like it was going to the side. I wish it was bigger to take more picture. Juli one day we need to go to Cape Canaveral
LOL-I am sure-it would have looked better if I could have got a shot of the boosters breaking away, but it was behind the trees. My son said it looks like a star in the picture!
But still, thats a pretty good picture and for you to get a picture of it, thats cool. If I took a picture of the "shuttle" it would probably end up being space junk.
Cool! Much better than my pic of Comet Hale-Bopp in '97 (not that that's necessarily hard to top...) We don't get to see many space launches in Michigan.
Very cool, when I was in highschool there was a satelite that fell from the atmosphere and landed outside our property on my neighbors land. I saw it crash and thought it was a UFO apparently even though it crashed it was still worth millions and there were already nasa people around it and I didn't get to see anything. It was still cool seeing what looked like a REALLY bright shooting star during the day. Maybe it was really a ufo and they were covering it up
