Sourcing dry gut load ingredients in uk

Well I set off today with my list to track down some ingredients to dry gut load my feeders. There doesn't seem to be anywhere locally to get them. I have found some on line but I wondered if there was a specific site I can get most of the dried goods that Sandra recommends instead of using several sites getting one item at each. I'm in uk. Fruit and veg are not a problem

Is there a health food shop near you? We live on a tiny island in the uk but managed to source all of Sandras ingredients there.

Thanks for replying had given up. I'm in Aberdeen. Went to holland and Barrett but they have very little. Have ordered kelp powder alfalfa powder and dehulled and shelled hemp seeds on line. Going to pick up some bee pollin locally. But it's difficult to visualise quantities without seeing first. If I could get locally that would be great. All feeder insects com with bran so don't need that.

Ok I've been out shopping. Found an independent health food store( I like them). I must have spoken to the wrong person yesterday because when I went to collect my bee polen I found that they had most of what I need. Paid with cash so hubby doesn't know what it all cost. Bought a grinder and I'm ready to go. Can I use anything else as the main ingredient apart from alfalfa as I don't have enough of it yet and I'm inpatient to start?

The big chain supermarkets here in the USA sell it. I dont know how different it is in the UK but a store like Fred Meyers has it all pretty much. I found it in the organic section where you bag your own ammounts or grains or nuts and the like. Hope that helps.

Glad you found someone who knew what they were talking about :). Millet is a good base, porridge oats also good & very easy to get.

EDIT: we use a mix of barley flakes, millet flakes & porridge oats as a base. Had to go check the cupboards.

We're up in Shetland so not too far away :)

It's expensive isn't it! My bf (blackened) spent a fortune! Bloomin bugs eat better than we do! Lol!

It's the quantities you have to buy to get a teaspoon full. I like the idea of going to a store and just measuring what you want. It looks as if I have enough for at least a year. Out of interest what supplements do you use? Found a supplier for Repeshey in uk but very expensive.

Repashy Uk is the official repashy supplier straight from repashy in the us. Their prices are the best I have found.
