Sources for new enclosures?

Hello Chameleon Forums! I have been frequenting this site for some time now and this is my first post. I usually just read threads and learn like I have been for a while now.

Now I have a question for the members of this VERY USEFUL forum. Where can I find a great cage for young adult veiled cham that has grown out of his baby cage? At least the recommended size (24x24x48")

I have found a few sites and even on ebay but before I invest in this department I want to ask this community.

My top so far would be http://www.ebay.com/itm/111485811422?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
size wise but I love the design of this cage shown here:
http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/pet/4682508612.html

The upper and lower swing doors are great for easy access. The upper swing door would be great to incorporate a little more room. I picture using a swing up door to have a vine extending towards a hanging plant like what I saw in one of the post here. https://www.chameleonforums.com/official-enclosure-picture-thread-49688/ The first one on the page. SUCH AN AMAZING SET-UP!

I plan on having this by my living room because it has the most room available in my apartment and having a little chameleon / "live art" corner exhibiting the beauty of this amazing animal! I was thinking of making a cage look decent for viewing.

Now my veiled cham "Karma" (why karma you say.. cause karma karma karma chameleon :D " loves to walk, free range while I'm home. I put him back to his cage when I leave.

THANK YOU!

Either cage would be great. The DIY cages are well known on the forums and the other is being sold by a member of the forums. If I remember correctly, they actually build them (though it looks like the ones in the ad were actually used as well). If I lived near there I would get the entire setup and get all of my chams in it, I love that setup he has.

You can also check out LLLreptile and Dragonstrand, both site sponsors. The Dragon Strand cages are some of the nicest IMO.

Do you have any local Reptile Expos? I get pretty good deals at the local Expos...Even got to meet Emmanuel Van Heygen at one :D

Thanks for the info, yes I checked the sites. Will be comparing them and making a decision soon. :)

I had 2 cages built to order the size I wanted to fit into the base I had by Canvas - I had gotten a "kitchen cart" put it together without the top drawer and talked to Nick-
https://www.chameleonforums.com/theyre-finally-their-new-home-thanks-dragonstrand-canvas-130280/

I also have a Dragonstrand breeders cage that fit in the same size kitchen cart and I love it too- It has the sides so it goes in the middle so I don't need a divider - They are both site sponsors...

Those are some amazing set-ups! How long did it take to accomplish and is it possible to get just one? I was looking into something of a fast resolve to the issue. Thank you for the info I will be keeping those site sponsors in mind.

I would love to be in a reptile expo, although I fear I would probably buy at least 1 more cham and 1 bearded dragon and not have the set-ups ready. Impulse buying these animals can be disastrous! Still would be amazing to be in a reptile expo. I live near Dallas Texas, any idea where to find information regarding upcoming expos? THANKS :)

p.s. how do you quote multiple people in a single post? x)

I ordered the Dragonstrand first with and the kitchen cart I really liked the way it fit- Then I ordered the smaller Canvas to fit in a matching cart.
The double cage took longer because I couldn't make up my mind - I really wanted a big cage for my panther but I knew that if anything were to happen to him I wouldn't be getting another one- I really like the smaller species - so Nick made me a cage I with a removable divider -

Nov 22-23 I think. Check this link. http://www.repticon.com/dallas.html

I too overspend at Expos so I go with cash and leave my wallet at home!

To multi quote just hit the ""+ looking button beside Quote and select the ones you want, then hit the Quote.
