Something wrong

so i noticed after i changed my guys terrarium from 16x16x30 to 2x2x4 he has not pooped yet (that was 2 days ago) he has eaten over 10 crickets since then and still nothing. I noticed him trying to poop twice and seen the the white part of his poop just start to come out but he just stops. Yesterday i also seen him fully stick out his hemipenes but it went back in all the way. and last but not least i noticed him opening his mouth and keeping it open for a little bit (but he is not under his basking light). Could he be impacted? he has not eaten anything that i know of.. i really dont know what is wron gwith him. am i overreacting??

I don't know the answer, but you might try giving him a nice warm shower. It won't hurt him and lots of people say it provokes pooping.

good advice. you could put very hot water in your mist bottle & gently spray his body. do the hand test, but the water should be nice & warm not hot by the time it gets to the cham. this should help. maybe a sperm plug? what kinda enclosure? all screen? if there is no sneezing sounds or gurgling or bubbles, ambient temp could be getting too hot & he could be opening his mouth to release heat. my young ambi girl was doing that a bit this week till we kicked on the ac. i would consider a vet visit if you havnt already been. even if theres nothing wrong, its worth the money to hear hes healthy.

whenever i pick him up he makes a sneezing sound or when he lifts himself up onto my other hand he does it. i gave him a little bit of water from a syringe and misted him with some warm water hope it helps

really sounds like a R.I. id really advise you take him to the vet. is he calm when you pick him up? or is he getting angry when hes making the noise?

he acts normal, then again if he has always had it i would never of known any different. he has never gaped or hissed at me, hes just always made that noise :\ im gunna book a vet visit asap

Mist with warm water, possibly soak him in warm water if he lets you, just enough to cover his belly and vent area, and if need be use a tiny amount of mineral oil, about .3 mls, and give it to him orally. Do not feed him until he poops, and you should definitely make a vet appointment for the URI.

Glad to hear he's doing better. The wheezing sound should be checked out though. We take our chams to The Links Animal and Bird Clinic in Toronto. Ask for Dr. Mavromatis (sp)

It never hurts to get a check up just to be sure!
