someone please help me!!

my chameleon hasnt been eating since monday evening, she hasnt got alot of balance and is covering her face with her front leg. she had black beetles in her tank (that had hatched from something)that had been stressing her out so ive emptied everything out of the tank and put all new stuff in there but shes not drinking or eating and is just laying at the bottom of the tank, she was very pale earlier and now shes got some colour back in her but shes still quite weak. please help me thank you :confused:

Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Location - Where are you geographically located?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

my chameleon:veiled,female,around 1year.
feeding:locusts,waxworms,mealworms
supplements:calcium powder (not sure what make)
watering:morning and evening we spray the tank for around 5-10minutes with a sprayer.she also drinks from her bowl ive seen her drink more from there than anywhere else.
fecal discription:white/dark brown stiff.

cage type:exo terra viv 60x60x45
lighting:exo terra 40watt bulb, just been changed to a 20 because we were told not to use this even though the shop we bought the viv from told us to get a 40watt. lights come on at 7am until 10.30pm
temperature:we have a heat mat and exo terra daylight bulb.
plants:we have exo terra fake plants.
placement:her tank is on my sideboard in my living room in a quiet room.
location:we are in hertfordshire england.
 
do yo unot use a uvb bulb at all?
and what does your supplement have it in, d3, phosophorus?

yeah thats what i mean by daylight bulb sorry, exo terra reptiglo 5uvb to be exact.
my supplements is called neutribowl ive only just started using this.

so do you have abasking bulb too then? you should have two bulbs, teh UVB 5.0, and a basking bulb.

and I don tknow about the nutrobal, but i think the supplementing is off.

I relaly need to see a picture please.
 
i have had my chameleon for a few months, they told me i would need the heat mat otherwise she wouldnt be warm enough in the tank.

first no heat mat!
chams can get burns. they get heat from a baskng bulb.

to load pics- post reply
click the paper clip in utiliity tray.
browse your computer.
uplaod.
close the window.
clilck paper clip again.
insert attachments.

submit reply.
 
we were advised to put the heat mat underneath the vivarium which we done which is also underneath the subtrate

yea well whoever told you that was wrong.

no heat mat. and no substrate.
if a bug gets down ther and your cham eats it, they can become impacted.
so remove both. and load pics, we need to check the limbs and body

it wont let me upload my pictures for some reason..
whats the best thing to use for the bottom of the viv then if i cannot use subtrate??
