Somebody in my house slammed the vacuum in the closet and broke the shel my eggs were sitting on. It consisted of a clutch of 25 eggs laid 6-26 a month and a half ago and another 37 eggs laid 8-8. I know this is bad. I took the eggs and laid them back into new substrate without rolling them anymore than they have. I just wanted to know howhat far a long do they develop the air pocket that when rotated kills the eggs and the chances of them being alright any thoughts and help would be great

Great lol. No one's fault on here so I can't be mad at the facts. I guess I'm going to have to see if they go bad or not hopefully some of them aren't bad I feel like such a dumb ass .

It's all adults so someone may get punched in the throat and kicked in the ding ding a few times. I'm thinking if they rolled it couldn't have been far out I caught my big tote with the 25 and they only maybe rolled a little. The other slid of the top when I caught the other one. The shelf didn't fully break until I opened the door. They were growing nice and big. I'm hoping that at least a few are good fingers crossed.

It's not 24 hours. If you keep them in a closet, I'm assuming you haven't diapaused them. The 8/8 eggs will be fine and the 6/26 should be ok too. It's important you learn from this: Mark the top of the eggs with a dot or line so you know which side should be up. Then if they get jostled or dropped you'll know how to replace them! You can use a ball point pen or Vegetable Magic Marker.

That would be my course of action. I'm always up for giving a good throat punch!

That sucks though. I have no egg experience so I can't be a help there, just wanted to offer my support.

Thank you all this is my first time having eggs so I'm learning myself I didn't know you could use a call point pen. I will do that now. I have keep them at 74-78 degrees since they were laid. I have placed the bin on the groundand have moved everything that has to be used often out of the closet and put a note on the door. I tried to candle light them with a small led light and I saw veins i think but no air pocket. Anything else you can think that can help would be great also
