some people shouldnt own chams !

Found a DIY cage 18 x 36 on Craigslist today for 50 bucks. The owner proceeded to tell me how its been through 2 different veileds in a 3 week period both died. Point is why get another if u didn't know how to take care of the first said they wouldnt eat I asked what he was feeding them and he kept changing the subject he said they where hatchlings basically weeks old it just upsets me when people don't do their research before they buy and kill a poor little innocent creature !

It could also have been the fault of the seller...offering tiny hatchlings way too young for anyone to try to raise. Or, they were weak babies from unhealthy parents. Out of most clutches there are probably a few babies not destined to survive regardless of care. That's yet another reason to buy older juveniles. But of course it's too late for those newbies anyway. Poor little things.

There are people on this planet who shouldn't own pond scum either.

I understand that also! but the cage seems to me rather large for a hatchling. I have a month old veiled which im thinking is from the same breeder which is an excellent breeder and herp guy.. I'm pretty sure they got him from the rep show, which came through here in the begining of january. I have my little guy in a 10 gallon just for the reason of hunting and falling he is clumsy as hell lol. Im upgrading him to a 16x 20 when i get the 18x 36 tomorrow. I havent had any problems with feeding my little guy he eats fruit flies and feeder beetles and extra small crickets!
