hi guys i just bought my first chameleon about 24 hours ago and i havent seen him eat a single thing, done quite alot of research im certain his habitat is good for his needs. Its just i thought they were supposed to be good eaters. He has some large crickets roaming for him to hunt but on my count he has eaten none of them. any suggestions?? is he maybe just stressed from the move??

they are definatly the right size, he is 8 months as ive been told by the seller. I'll leave it another day and see how he's doing im just worried his food starts attacking him but i'll take them out before his lights go out. can pictures be posted?? thank you.

It's not uncommon for new chameleons to not eat much for a few days after they've moved, they are adjusting to their new homes. But we'd love to see photos of him and his cage, one, because we love seeing chameleons, and two, it can't hurt to have us look everything over. It's most probably just him settling in, but if he's too cold or something he may not be eating either.

How is your cham doing now? Eating I hope! Sometimes it takes up to a week or so for them to get comfortable in their new surroundings and start feeling good enough to eat! :) Hope he's doing well!

thanks everyone for your replies he eats good he doesn't want crickets but the locusts get yomed he ate 6 first batch i got. tends to only want two or 3 every couple of days now. :)
