Soft White 60W good for a heat bulb (vs. natural light 60W)?

I only have soft white right now and i wanted to give it a shot and see how my cham likes it.

I prefer the soft whites, you are utilizing it for a heat bulb, the difference between lighting the cage on the two are not much noticable. I find most of the light comes from UV/plant light.

I like the soft whites over the clear bulbs, seems like the light isn't as bright but still gives good heat.

Soft white is normally a 3000k spectrum, plants do best under a 6500k spectrum... aka natural light.

Yes that is true, but soft whites work fine in chameleon enclosures as a heat source.
