Soft Water

Hi, I have a soft water system installed in my house so I'm just wondering if that is ok water to use in my mist machine?

Since water conditioning/softener systems add sodium to the water, I see people generally not recommending that the water be used for chameleons.

I do not have a water softener, so hopefully a keeper who has experience with one will jump in with some advice for you.

I have well water with a softener system.
It has never been a problem. Perhaps most significantly, we've bred many red eye treefrogs, dart frogs, and bred blue tetra fish here without problems also. These would be more sensitive to salt in the water than chameleons, I would think. I would think incubating eggs would be as well, and there too, never a problem.
