Soaking

So I took my guy to the vet for a well visit and everything checked out. But the vet mentioned something about soaking him in a little water. She said it's just to help kinda clean him and remove any feces or waste that may be stuck on him. Also she said it helps with shedding. I've heard about soaking for like bearded dragons but not chameleons. Just curious as to what you guys think about it.

I can't imagine your chameleon would like a bath very much...
Most people have a big plant (ficus) or something like that and put their chameleon in the shower for a longer period of time running the shower against the wall and letting the water splatter over the plant.

I used to give my iggies long soaks and they absolutely loved it, but I've heard the tree in the shower method is best for chams as they don't run into standing water in their natural environment so they don't care for it much.
