So the POWER BALL is $640 MILLION and growing!!

I play every once in a while on a whim, maybe 3 times a year.
Always with different random numbers.

I once knew a man, that years ago won a million. He always played religiously, and continues to do so, just throwing tons of money away, hoping to win again. (for the excitement)

As long as people arent playing out of obsession, it seems fine to me.

I got my tickets!:D Not that im likely to win, but i have the same chance as most! Lol. This is the second time ive ever played the lottery, but I do venture to a casino once in a while too.
 
I play solo and in a pool at work!

I am buying tickets today too!!! :D I hope I win, but my dad has been playing the lottery my entire life and never won more that a free lottery ticket or a few bucks. I tend the think the lottery is a state and gov't scam to steal our hard earned money. I know some people actually win, so I am going to play this time. I wish you all luck!
 
I know two people personally who have won the lottery. My very good friend and nieghbor won 3 1/2 mill with 14 or her co workers. The lotto was for 7 mil but there was another winning ticket. Also, my brother in laws cousin won 11 million. She lived right next store to me, so I am like what are my odds of winning after she won! I don't play but my husband plays every week for probably about 20 years!!
 
Odds of winning the big one.. 1 in 175 million..
I like those odds cause its not zero! I've got 10 tickets! My. Chams hoping for me to win to cause he knows he'll get his own room added on to the house. :) I dream about It a lot :)
 
ny post today says jackpot 630 million if you take it lump sum instaed of payments after tax 270 million how do they justify 400 mil in taxes

Nah, it's not that much. I think it was $470m payout lump sum on $640m. Rite not ill take $1m
