So Larry head-bobs when I water him at first. Any thoughts?

When I start spraying his enclosure down he does a few subtle head-bobs. He drinks his water normally and doesn't display any 'I'm mad at you' colors, I'm not sure what the little bobs though mean. Any ideas on what it means?

maybe he's horny....jk:p

idk..could be just getting the water off his face, but maybe just a quirky behavior...hopefully some other expereinced owners know wat it might mean...:)

My little one sort of head bobs, it looks more like a twitch to me though haha, never seen a cham head bob. It happens when the spray hits and he/she doesnt like it haha so after the few twitches he/she moves out of the line of fire :p

I suppose it could be a twitch. It isn't hugely subtle and he chills out after a few seconds. Maybe its just him bein him :D

I have never had a male Veiled that head bobs. Usually they just twitch to let you know that you are irritating! :)

Luie never does the head bob......not even when he mated. I have seen him do a little shake sometimes when I get him off his tree outside to take him in. I guess this is his way of saying leave me alone........I want to stay outside.

I have a male panther that head-bobs for no particular reason. It doesnt seem to be related to "courtship" since he has no interest in mating. His siblings dont share this odd behaviour - when they headbob its all about the girls.
He might just be stupid, or it might mean something I dont understand. Whatever the reason is, it doesnt seem important, as he's a healthy 6 years old.

My male Jackson's will head bob at me occasionally and I just do it right back at him. Eventually when he sees how silly I look he stops and gives me a look like he's embarrassed for me :)
