so today was my last day with juju my weird yellow colored veiled :( when i first got her, she was supposed to be a "he" and with all your guys help & advice i found out differently & when i did i had put her up for sale thinking that if i got rid of her quick enough i wouldnt get to attached and still be able to find a male veiled. well about a week ago someone had emailed me about her & iv been asking questions & putting them to the test so after a week & a day they traveled 4 hours across pennsylvania to come get her. when they got here it was horrible it was like she knew what was going on, she even crawled out of her cage & onto my hand with no problems, and it just broke my heart to see her go i was fighting back tears the whole time i was talking to them :( but atleast she is going to someone that will enjoy her as much as i did.

Im sorry to hear that. I know its hard to let go but that attachment will get u in no time. You'll be ok once u get that baby boy

its crazy how attached we get to such a small creature. Maybe the new owners on this forum and you can keep in touch with Juju. Are you going to be getting a new male then? if so you can start looking forward to getting him:)

I'm so sorry that you had to let her go. These little animals have a way of getting right to your heart.

it is crazy lol i was looking at pictures and she has gotten big since i first got her
the new owners said i could keep there number and they would send me pictures and updates on her lol and that if they ever had 2 get rid of her for some reason i could get her back from them :D wich is a good thing i sent her the link for the forum so i hope she does join :p
but yesss!!!! im now looking for a little man:p and im excited!!

Aaaw that`s really sad. It`s amazing how quickly they become party of the family. I`m so glad you found her a great new home - i have a female myself and i love her to bits, but i will never get another female after finding out first hand what can go wrong. Good luck in finding your little boy.

lol no more pictures of her ..but i took tons of them b4 she left lol...they are mostly fired up pictures lol she wasnt to fond of the camera.

that's sad, it still kills me ever since my male veiled got into a tree and haven't seen him since, just this summer . . .

can't help but looked up in that tree everyday and get an empty feeling inside, its incredible how such a small little creature with such small little hands can grab such a great big chunk of our hearts and take it with them, huh?

:(

awwww im sorry about that :(
yes even tho u cant cuddle & play with them they are sooo lovable!
i remember reading ur thread about that along time ago :(

If it were me, I'd go through those pictures and find some I could put into a montage, then have it printed as big as possible and frame it, put it on the wall. It will be beautiful art and a lovely memorial to the baby you had to give away.

lol i do have pictures of both of them all over my house! its kind of funny i have more pictures of my chameleons around then i do pictures of my family :)
they are my babies! lol its pretty bad when you buy your chameleons something extra for their set-up instead of a well needed pair of shoes :D
