Where I live, I'm not lucky enough to get snow. Maybe 2-3 years ago we got freezing rain, but it only lasted maybe 2 hours. However, drive an hour east, and you see snooooow everywherererere. We took my uncle's truck up to the Pinals and almost went off a cliff several times because off the slush. Ouch!

Here are some pictures. Any of you locals, feel jealous!

Here, I slipped and fell, so tried to make a snow angel but failed.

I can climb mountains... but not very well.

Me and my amazing Uncle Bob who has amazing driving skills (but still almost made me relieve myself several times).

This is what happens when you leave me off to my own devices in the snow. (It was MUCH worse.)

very true...lol....i like PA we have cold winters and hot summers....winter always seems to last longer though....id just rather be outside all the time....my kids love the snow...but the last couple years we dont really get that much like i used to growing up....i had snowmobiles in the past but now there is never enough snow to do that....

There were a few people on snow mobiles. I personally grabbed drip pans at the local tire place and used them as a sled.. may upload the videos later... hehehe

Looks like a great time! We had winter storms and advisories all weekend. My agility class was cancelled, and we rarely cancel anything due to weather! Now that the snow is pretty much done we'll be dealing with high winds -- about 40 mph. Winter here sucks, and like where meganm85 is, we have hot summers and long cold winters. Maybe Arizona is where I need to be lol.

That's true! 70mph wind in AZ! Unfortunately, I had to drive home during that and the rain. And, to make to make it worse, my windshield wipers are all dried out from the summer, and they make a horrid noise when you try to use them. I remember just trying to walk to my car... It was sooo windy that I could hardly walk! lol I remember laughing because it's a weird sensation to not have control over where you're walking.

Syn, I just might take you up on your offer! lol We're colder now than we were. Not quite 40 below, but very close with the windchill. The wind is crazy and blowing all that snow we got. All schools in the province were closed today, and there were whiteouts on the highways. No class tomorrow either, so my dogs are going stir crazy. As for the other critters, it's the same old same old.

The day after, I found several umbrellas as I was walking along my street, as well as quite a bit of paper. Make sure you are watching the weather so you can repair your wipers ahead of time, be safe! We don't want a forum member missing!

We get down to 20-40 at night, back to 120 in the day.. It's happened! Ask anyone in the valley... hahaha.

Really? Interesting. We just went over it (for a third time for myself) in English class, the movie was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.

Oh tell me about it, I want to go back! There wasn't enough good snow to do that, and when I tried to build my own snowman (let alone snowcham) my hands got much too cold.
