Sneeze?

On top of the loss of Ollie my green anole I finished misting my female Senegal today and I was standing there and she sneezed two times in a row. No excess saliva or mouth gaping but she didn't eat as much as she normally does for the last 2 days but I figured that was because I recently moved her to a new space in the house. Worried right now. I hope it's not a RI. I'm going to take her to the vet. But my question was should I wait and see if she sneezes again or shows another symptom. She's with me on her tree in the living room and I have a few days off that I'm spending at home. Should I just take her in ASAP or wait the couple days? I have heard they do this to clear their nostrils too?

Was it sort of like a huff from the nose? That usually means that they want you to stop or back off. My guy does this whenever I mist him directly, he hates it

Was it a little short 'huff' sort of noise? My female does this. Sometimes When I'm misting she does it to blow water out of her nostrils. Also I've read that it's a warning sound, like a 'hey you're annoying me' sort of thing.

I had just scared the bejeezers out of her and myself when I began misting her not realizing fiancé put the misting nozzle on the loosest setting and it sprayed her in a not so nice fashion. Could that be it? And it really sounded like a sneeze 2 of them

Will she let you hold her?

Either way, with everything quiet, lean in or put her to your ear and listen really close to her. They breathe really slow but if you can hear her breathing, or other squeeky or whistling, wheezing noises, you may need the vet. Unless she is pissy and puffed up and wheezes or whistling noises are part of the regular thing she does to tell you to back off? Otherwise, just keep your eyes and ears peeled for a few days and try to catch it early if it is the start of a RI.

Here's to hoping she was just blowing water out!
