Smelly Cage?

Well I was looking at my cham and his cage kinda smells like pee?
but i really do not think its his poop cause when i bought him he pooped in his box (2 poops) and it didnt smell at all. would you think its the ventilation cause i misted alot to make sure hes not dehydrated and i mean misted ALOT and im guessing theres not much ventilation down there would you say poop and old water and water from the pot would smell i do have some holes the pic is from before but still
in all seriousness ive had him for four days and it started smelling today im pretty sure

could be the water.
Could you describe how you made your cage?
How does the water drain? what do you have in the bottom of the bucket?

Im thinking its in the cage design!

this pic was taken when i got all those materials but now theres a row of holes at the top and a circle of 4 holes on the bottom for drainage and its on a rack with a bowl under it for water but when i spray the water drips and theres a lip inside so the water stays there anyways im making a new cage which isnt circular >.<

i have the exact same problem but it only smells when i mist it smells BAD!!! ive changed leaves and scrubbed the cage but still smells so when i mist i just leave the room and spray some frebreeze and im serious about this
