2 month young ambilobe...
Is it normal to sleep hanging from the top mesh?
Theres plenty of horizontal branches and vines.
This is his first night here, so maybe hes getting used to the cage. Can he fall? Theres no plants under that corner to break the fall. Should I worry?

He should be ok but if it makes you feel better move him to a branch.
BTW He's a little cutie!!!!!

It's okay. He's just finding a place in the cage, he feels secure enough to close his eyes and sleep.

Question? Is he two months, 29 days old. :D He looks pretty colorful for his age. :) Good looking guy!

Ok, thanks!
I will stop checking on him every 5 minutes and get some sleep myself :)
Hatched on August 20...so 2 months and 7 days

Yeyo, on a fine mesh or screen where only the nails grip, id be worried, but your pics show a nice broad grid where it can grip well and I beleive they really 'lock on' when they go to sleep.
In this case I wouldnt be too concerned, but Id try not to disturb it while sleeping. :)

If my cham is hanging out up there as he usually wanders all around his cage and I turn out his lights, he's out. He has not fallen and I too have the large grids. I even put some cushion under him the first time as I was worried too. BTW, he is really cute, what's his name?

Havent decided for a name yet...Im waiting to know his character to see if I get some inspiration.

Have thought of 2:
-My father in law is called Frederick and hes from Norway, I was gonna call him 'Fred the Viking', but my girlfriend didnt found it funny.
-I have a pic of him on my facebook and some girl suggested 'Poopie', and another girl said "yeah, last name 'Kakas'....so 'Poopie Kakas' is another option :D

Heres another pic of him getting some yummy cricket:
