Some suggestions.

His sleeping pattern could be completely off with the lights being on at night. They need no light at night. They can and will go to sleep with lights on typically or when they have been put on a schedule and it has been broken. Id say his is jus tall messed up from day one. Lights should be on for 10-12 hours and then no lights for the same. Dont worry about night time temps unless they fall into the 50's. If this happens a ceramic heat emitter is great.

Is he eating? If so, how much and how many times?
What type of repto cal do you have?

The chameleon does appear to have mbd and i see no reason to inject calcium. I would personally drip it on the tip of the nose for the chameleon to drink. Force feeding may be needed, just go slow and be extremely patient. Did the vet take a blood sample to determine the levels? If so do you know what they are? What did he prescribe (dosing amount/frequency/strength) of calcium? Im not a vet and can only go off of what i have read to this point on this particular situation. Too much calcium given in the instance your chameleon is in can actually do the chameleon harm. There are vets here that will hopefully see this and what you post back to give better advice on this particular subject.

Im not a fan of glass. Way to many negatives to recommend them.

How are you measuring temps? Can i see pictures of this? your cage is really 60 on the bottom and 88 at the top?

He has always had a red nightlight/heatlamp never bothered him before and all the lights are scheduled for 9am-9pm on time.

The reason I went with a glass enclosure is that my roommates keep the ac going all the time and it was really hard to keep the humidity up and also the temperature or else I would have gone with a screen cage.

The injection is like putting a drip on his noes. The vet told me to do 0.03 mills of Calcium Glubionate/ml, #: 25 and when the he eats, I put the syringe (with no needle) near his mouth and squirt it in his mouth pointing away from his breathing hole thing.

He has been eating perfectly fine except for today because he was sleeping when I would normally feed him.

I got my temps mixed up its about 70-88f during the day and 60-80f at night with the nightlight/heatlamp going. I am afraid that if I turn off the heat lamp at night it will drop below 50f cause of the ac always going.

why do you not feed him during the day? It would be better to feed him in the morning and let him bask during the day and digest his food. Also, that size cage is way to small for an adult veild. you never mentioned the size in your other post and it looks much bigger in the pictures than the size you stated. That is just way too small.

He is about 6" body length. I have to leave by 7:30am for work and I don't get back till about 6pm and thats usually when I feed him. Should I adjust his hours to something like 7am-7pm and start feeding him when I get up?

Yes. Chams need the heat and sunlight throughout the day to digest their food properly. I would switch you light schedule to 7-7 so you can feed him in the morning and he can digest properly throughout the day.

agree with this!!! I don't want to sound mean but he really could use more room!! When I meant size, I was talking about cage size. You posted pictures but never mentioned the dimensions of the cage. If you would have posted 18 X 18 X 24 in your original thread you proably would have heard from others about the size also.

I did mention the dimensions of the cage in the cage info!
" Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?= exoterra, glass, 18"x18"x24" ".

I was told that the cage was a good size for a 9month old chameleon at his size. He looks so tiny within it. The pictures are making him look bigger than he is because of the way he is laying. He was perfectly fine in his smaller cage a couple of days ago, that has me to believe that it is not the cage being to small.

I will go ahead and switch his light schedule to 7am-7pm and start feeding him in the morning.

That is actually very small for a veiled that age. He should be in at least a 24"x24"x48"
