This may be a dumb question, but I was wandering what are the signs of a chameleon ready to go to sleep? I just got a juvenile chameleon and he keeps hiding in the plants. I’m not sure if he is ready to sleep or if he is exploring. Thank you

You want to keep them on a 12 hour lights on and 12 hours total darkness. They may go into the plants an hour or so prior to lights off to bed down.

Depending on your set up hiding during the day can be many things... Can you post a picture of your enclosure lights down?
