Sleep patterns changing

For about a week or so, my 9 month old panther chameleon has been going to his sleep earlier than usual.

He used to be awake until 9:30-10, then goes to his sleeping spot, rolls his tail and doesnt move. His eyes are still open though.

Every evening he has been going to that spot earlier and earlier. A few days ago it was around 9, then 8:30 a couple days later.

Now it is 8 and he is in his sleeping spot and position.

Is this normal behavior?

I think he is just comfortable and content, or maybe just getting prepared for the night, finding the right spot. JMO

It sort of depends on what time he wakes up and if it looks dark to him earlier. If so you are not ion the us. So what are his up & down times?
