Skin Irriation/Tumor/Fungal Infection

Hello,

I have an approximately 6 month old male veiled Chameleon. I have had him since he was little. He is in a 18x18x24 tank (just recently purchased a 24x24x48 which I plan to transition him this weekend). He has had the same routine since the first day I got him. Recently he developed grey bubbly skin near both of his front arms. (See pictures) I took him to the vet, they did a biopsy on him (see the stitches) which seems to have irritated the skin worse. The lab results came back inconclusive. He is on oral antibiotics for suspected fungal infection & on needle injections of antibiotics for the stitched skin. I am so worried about him since the vet seems to be stumped on what it can be. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him but it is very concerning. Please has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions anything would be appreciated.

What antibiotic/medication is he on for fungal? Bacterial?

Not sure what that is. You said tests were inconclusive...what tests were done?

Because its on both sides somewhat evenly it makes me wonder what would have caused it to be like that. In all my years of keeping chameleons I haven't seen anything like that. Sorry I can't give you an answer.
