Size of petco crickets?

I want to order crickets online, but their sizes are in fractions like 1/2 or 1/4 and I'm not sure what to get? The crickets labeled small at petco seem to be the perfect size for my guy right now, does anybody know what size that equals on one of our site sponsors? I just don't want to order 500 of the wrong size. Thank you.

They're usually 1/4". When you order bulk crickets they continue to grow after you get them so if 1/4" is the perfect size then order smaller. You'll have to feed a little more when they're smaller but it's better than having 400 crickets that are too big for your guy after a week or two.

Thank you I think I'm going to order 1/4 because 1/4 and 3/8 both work so they can grow to another size that's good.

If you're getting them from the small/medium bin, they should be 1/4" to 3/4" in size, I never get consistent sizes.

Online, Petco has many more sizes than the "large" or "small" offered in the store. I buy the 1/4 and feed more early on, less as they grow. You're better off getting them a tad too small if you're ordering a large quantity.
