Sissroe and his cage

I need some advise on making my on cage for my chameleon ,I do not know whether I can stain my boards or what can i do not to harm my chameleon. Can anyone tell me what to do or what they know they have heard. I would like to hear from someone thank you Sissroe.

As far as staining, you can, as long as you use a reptile-safe stain and allow it to dry thoroughly.
IMO, it's a good idea to seal any stain (or wood in general) with a reptile-safe sealer.

Whatever you use, just make sure to give it time to gas off it’s odor.
