Just made up a batch of gutload for the locusts:

A load of fresh greens
Watercress
Spinach
Rocket
Parsley
Carrot
Orange

Blended the lot and put in ice cube trays.

Think I'll do a dandelion and fruit based one next time :D

Sounds great! However, spinach ( and broccoli) are not the best to use as gutload as they are high in oxylates which binds the the calcium preventing the cham from absorbing it. Shouldn't be too bad as it's a small amount in with other things, but best not to use either of these things on their own.

Oh, yes, I did put brocolli in as well...BUT I remembered from other posts not to put in too much brocolli and spinach for exactly that reason. Kale too!!!

So I only put a little bit of those in.

The main ingredient is the fresh greens, with a bit of the other things to add a bit of flavour :)

Thanks Tiff :)
