Silverfish??

Can my chameleon eat a silverfish? Recently they have been all over my house and they are bugging me(pun intended) so I really wanna feed them to my Cham. Just wondering if they are toxic or anything else bad, because if not, well, it’s hunting season.

Been seeing them at my house too a lot. Fed one to my veiled. After that one he won't touch em. It didn't seem to bother him. He just didn't like it I guess.

They would be prop with heavy metals. I wouldn´t. I feed my ptychozoon kuhli isopods caught next to a road. I believe that killed them, anything else about them was alright.

I personally wouldn't risk it, you have NO IDEA what it's Ben on or where its been, they're pretty nasty creatures IMO. There are plenty of alternative options, but it sure would be a great way to rid of the bastards!

In a perfect setting, sure they'd probably be good feeders for small animals, but they tend to feed on things that contain a lot of chemicals and heavy metals. I wouldn't want to feed them off WC. There are firebrats which are similar

Do you have any of those!? Are they beneficial feeders? Never heard of em

Nope I've never used them, they're smaller. @Sonny13 didn't you buy some?

Thought I ordered them but I didn´t , they’re on the next order. However that will be firebrats and no silverfish.

Firebrats come to mind, either way, you would definitely want to raise up a colony of WC ones and feed off the offspring. Since as others stated, they eat just about anything.
