silly question

;)
no wait I never said ALL animals dont have emotions, I only said "most reptiles" not even ALL reptiles!!! (according to scientists)

I know.... i wasnt saying you said that..
and scientists are dumb, what do they know anyway? ;)

cept whre to find matchstick sized chameleons.. hahah

Uh oh Camimom, I'm a biologist - watch out! ;)

Mine don't care about their reflections either, it's never been something that worries them.

I won't say that chameleons have emotions, but they are certainly capable of reacting to situations and it's the way each animal reacts to stimuli that makes them individuals. No two chameleons that I've ever owned have had the same personality, because no two react or learn the same way. And they do learn! Mine know the layout of the house and can walk from one room to another if they know that's where I keep insects. They are like guided missiles, and this may be only after I've walked through the house with them on my hand - they learn it visually, not even by having to walk the way themselves.

hahaha as a biology student (almost graduate) I totally agree with you :D

Of course chams show emotion, they can get stressed very easily, this is an emotion

ok but that's not a good reason to spam the forums ;)
plus stress is a combination of reactions, I wouldn't classify as emotion...

Hi I'm back!!!
It's been a while since my last post!!

I need advice on moving my chameleon outside.
Now temperatures on my parents' terrace ( yes my cham lives at my parents' home :) )are about 75 max-52min Fahrenheit (24-12 celsius).
Most "cham experts" here in Italy suggest to move veileds outside only when minimum temps reach 60-65 f (16-18 celsius). Personally I don't agree with them, what do you suggest?:confused:

P.s the cham is adult and perfectly healthy, will post pics tomorrow :)

My Veiled used to fire up in the mirror. He even roamed around the house to find the mirror. He seemed to need it. My panther couldn't care less for the mirror but hates the lens of the camera, particular the iPhone (with or without a cover).

I've already posted about this twice. Nothing works on my Cham. Everyday I take him outside, we stop by the mirror to see he reacts, and nothing. I've never seen him fired up...

suggestions for what?

for this

Maybe I should have opened a new thread ! sorry :p

Maybe you have an awesomely chill Cham that will let you put him on your shoulder and doesn't get mad when you stick random things in his cage! I'D BE HAPPY! :)

My ambilobe is just like that i really think it gets annoying because litteraly every time i open his cage door he will make a break for it and run onto my shoulder.
