Silkworms too large?

Well, I have recently bought silkworms from both Mulberry Farms and Coastal Silkworms. The Mulberry Farm silkies were very healthy, and were the size I ordered, small, at .25 to .5 inches long. I ordered the same size from Coastal Silkworms, and I recieved in total 300 silkies that were in average 1.5 inches long, some closer to 1 inch, but almost all 1.5 inches long. I have a 5 Month old Panther and these are simply too big. Has anyone else had this problem with coastal? Also, anyone in the New England area need larger silkies? I just can not feed them.

your guy should handle the 1.5" worms just fine. they are soft and will go down the hatch pretty easily. just keep an eye on him while he is eating.

not common, but maybe he just doesnt like them. agreed, 1.5 inch should be no problem for him to eat. maybe better luck with some smaller supers or some butters?

He LOVES the little ones. The silkies are his favorite. I'm just paranoid about him choking. These guys are pretty big :/
