I always fed silkworms and hornworms their seperate foods. But I saw that hornworm food is cheaper if buying in larger quantities... So my question is...

Can silkworms eat hornworm food?

If you're looking to cut costs, dont rely on using purchased prepared chows. Less expensive (and I think better) to gutload on a variety of produce.

Silkworms will eat mulberry leaves, dandelion leaves, shaved carrot, organic sweet red pepper, grape leaves, etc

Hornworms will eat dandelion leaves, sweet red or green peppers, grape vine leaves, sweet potatoe (lightly steamed and cooled), basil, etc. If yo ulike the idea of the chow stuff, you can make a paste (blender) from dandelion, grape vine leaves, arugula, mustard greens, basil, some sweet potatoe, some carrot, a little wheat germ, a dash of spirulina and a little brewers yeast.
