So I am trying silkworms and I observed the strangest behavior from my amibole. He is the largest of my bunch so I decided to feed him the largest silkworms that came in my cup from Mulberry farms. I put two in the cage on one of the wooden dowels I use for a perch. The silkworms stretched out to what looked like almost 2 inches long. I sat in the room to see if he would go for them as they looked too big for him. It took him a while for him to approach one but when he did, the weirdness ensued. He did not try to eat the worms but instead looked like he was trying to mount it! Anyone ever seen this before?
