Silk worms

Anyone ever try hatching out the silkworm eggs,and keeping them alive to feed there cham? Would like to know how that panned out for anyone? Thanks.

Silkworms are pretty hardy but are a lot of work all the do is eat and poop ..... so all you will be doing is feeding and cleaning (which is a must).....

I have its alot easier that some people make it sound. I just keep them in a closet with a light bulb on to keep the temp in the closet up and feed them their chow. They do eat and poop alot though.

Make sure they have a lot of food and also that when they are really small that you disinfect your hands before you touch them or they could die. Just keep them warm with lots of food and you should be fine!
