I have 1 week old silkworm that hatch and I have been feeding them every 2 days and today I went to try to clean up the tub that I got from costal silkworm and put new food in there it seems that everything is stuck together like the worm spun some silk on it is this normal and how do I cleanup the old dry food

You can put some new food next to the old and the worms will make their way to it.

As long as the food from the prior feeding is dry, you can simply grate new food on top of it. The worms will move to the top.
