Okay, I have cocoons, moths and eggs all over the place in here.

As you can see, there are a bunch of eggs turned black stuck on
one of the cocoons.
No way can I figure out how to collect these eggs, since they are on
everything!!

So, I am just going to place that whole cocoon with all the eggs on it, it
my hatching chamber as is!!

What about the rest of this mess!!??

The orange/brown stains are fromt he liquid the mothsexpel once their wings have dried out. I usually remove any first so they do this before mating so that everything is kept clean! If they mate straight away then they will expel the liquide after mating when they lay. When my moths emerge I usually pair them up in a separate container and place a plastic cup over them so she will lay them in a contained area. Once the eggs turn dark they can be stored in the fridge to force them into diapause.

Glad you are having fun with your moths and cocoons psychobunny. I had one lay on a cocoon and I was able to pick them off with my nails. I put them straight in the incubator to hatch. Good luck:)

That is exactly why I put a toilet paper roll over them. I can control where they lay eggs. I also change out the paper towel after they hatch so its clean when they lay.....if possible.

Well, I would pair them up in little deli cups if I knew who was who!!
Cant tell the males from the females, plus, I don't know who has already mated and/or laid eggs!!
They have rolled the cocoons around in there so much, this morning they
were all bunched up in a corner!!

I just remove the eggs as best I can. Will try the paper tubes next time
Pigglett.

I think I am too later this time
