Silk Ficus jungle Plant?

We just went to a reptile store to pick up more plants for our panther that shows up in a week. After we picked out the Ficus Jungle Plant from Exo Terra we found out it was a Fabric type plant and it says on the back of the package "Can be used in conjunction with real plants in dry or hot areas." We are unsure if we shouldn't put them in the cage because we have misters and a humidifier going off all day long and was thinking the fake plant may grow mold. can someone let me know if we should take them back or if they will be fine in the cage. Thanks a lot
