Signs and Symptoms

Hello everyone. So currently I am dealing with a new panther female with an eye issue and an aim issue. After reading through tons of posts and comments I was able to come up with some ideas and treatments for her. Anyways, it made me think. We should come up with cards, or threads that have a common illness listed along with signs and symptoms and also treatments. Something that has a quick reference, like a sticky at the top of a forum. I am a licenced paramedic and we have these to help us discern certain illness in the field setting. It sure would beat searching through gobs of threads looking for answers. So here is an example of what it would look like.

Illness: Dehydration

Signs & Symptoms: Lethargic, Sunken eyes, Orange urate, etc.

Treatment: Shower, Extra time misting, etc.

Now I know there is alot more you could add but you get the point. And as we go along we can add more and increase info on current cards.

You could also cross reference signs and symptoms to find out idea on what illness your cham might have.

So what do you all think? It would take some work but would make finding information especially in an emergency that much faster.

i think its a really good idea. im sure it would be really helpful and save lots of chams.

I would really appreciate it as a new cham owner. I might be going over board but can never know enough when it comes to these lil guys

I think it sounds like a great idea. It would give people a quick general idea of what might be going on with their cham. However I feel they should still after they have an idea go to the board for help and give more detailed information about their cham, setup, feeding, supplements, lighting... So that what might have caused the problem can be worked out with help.

I think another member started something like this aleady? Ataraxia maybe? or atleast suggested it. I don't know how far it got though. edit: I just checked his page and he has a bunch of blogs of some illnesses.
