sick panther?

my guy is about a year old now. he has always been a great eater. mops up everything in front of him. also he's always been pretty active. but for the past two days now he's just been sitting under his basking light not really moving around. he hasnt been eating either. and maybe i'm being a little paranoid but it seems like he's turning a little yellow. the only change lately is i've been feeding him bigger crickets. unfortunately i ordered the wrong size. he didnt seem to have a problem with them. however when he did get one in his mouth he would hold it there for a minute then start chewing. maybe i'm jumping the gun here and he's about to start shedding but a little feedback would be appreciated.

i've been feeding him crickets gutloaded with bug burger, oranges, and kale. also reptiworms gutloaded with kale and carrots.

his droppings seem to be okay. actually he drop a little white pee on me just now as i was inspecting him.

The last two picks look almost as if he was burned... But I can't tell exactly. He just looks odd in the last two.

Where is your bulb positioned? And what wattage is it? Also could you send. A picture of the entire setup and tell us a bit about daily husbandry.

Also he should be eating daily. If he is not eating daily you may want to up your temps and increase mistings so he stays hydrated when you increase the temps.

Most people keep their panthers cooler than I recommend. I keep mine with a basking of 88-90 and ambient of 82-84. Hope this helps.

My chameleons eat every day and ever since I upped my temps I have not had a sick or problematic chameleon. I do keep my females. A it cooler than the males but they all still are doing very well .

Hope your boy is okay!

i have no idea why all the pictures are turned when i upload them?

thats his setup.

the dripper is gone and replaced by exoterra monsoon. he's misted three times a day for about two minutes with distilled water.

the plants are live except for the orchid in front.

he's fed everyday about 10 - 12 crickets or worms. like i said, finishes everything in his cage in about 10 minutes.

i have a uvb bulb, 75w basking bulb, and a 40w moonlite bulb. i live in ny and it gets cold over night. lights on at 8am and off at 11pm.

This is too long. I would shoot for 9~10 hrs of light time. On at 8, off at 5 or 6. This will allow him to have a more natural sleep cycle. The amount of full sun in Madagascar ranges from ~6-8 with day length ranging from 11-13.
I would also not use a light at night, they seem to sleep best with total darkness.

ditch the night light. you're good as long as your temps don't drop below 50F at night. it's actually good for them to get the temp drop.

Also, definitely switch to a 7 am on 7pm off schedule if you can. only 12 hours max of daylight. He looks very burnt out and dehydrated. probably hasn't been sleeping real well with the night lamp either. they need darkness.
