Please do post photos - get ones that are very in focus. This sounds like a temporal gland infection. Jacksons have a little scent gland in the corner of the mouth and are prone to getting infections here. If so, she will need a vet visit to clean out the infected area (chameleon pus is thick and cheesy not fluid) and to prescribe antibiotics. Unfortunately, if it is a temporal gland infection, it can't be treated at home. Do you have a chameleon vet?

From your quick description, there are a lot of things that need to change ASAP to help prevent her from getting sicker/sick again. I'm not trying to be mean because people are often given terrible advise for caring for chameleons and there are a lot of bad products out there that waste people's money.

Here is the caresheet for Jacksons. The information in this sheet can be trusted because it was written by very smart people with years of experience raising chameleons. They wrote this to combat all the bad information on the internet.

It can be overwhelming, but I'm happy to help you through it one point at a time if you want. Can you fill out these questions? The more detail you can give, the better we can set up her home.
