sick, dying, or stressed?

I got a new chameleon well, before I had it my friend was taking care of him. When I got it I noticed he began getting white spot on his back. I've had him for a couple of days now and his entire back is white. His eating frequently and drinking water. I don't know what to do

Could you attach a photo so we could all better understand the issue. It could possibly be just a shed. Or something more sever like a burn, but we can't tell without a picture.

It might just be the start of a shed. A photo would confirm this, though.
